The changes that matter
This is not that important, but those asterisks actually represent special symbols:

And here's the marquee tag for Helterskelter. Yes, that is a period:

And the image in the Wario de Mambo disc was changed:

Figurines

That's a nice king
The sound the King makes when he bows has been changed from "gomen" to "sorry". It's pretty much just a translation:

One down!
The Mushroom figurine was removed from the US version. It's one of the falling-over figurines:

Why? Probably because it's a bit phallic (c'mon, you also thought of that). It doesn't bother me, since you can only move the cap (supposedly, it comes off if you shake hard enough and there's a face underneath, but I can't do it on a ROM).

Relax!
The sound the Yoga Man makes when he bends completely has been changed from "Woosh!" to "Relax":

Changed titles
Here are the changed English titles, along with other titles with changed layout, placement, etc:

Change of distance
The distance unit was changed from metres to yards:

This change applies to Ski Jumping, Batting Practice and Divider Conquer. By the way, a yard is about 0.91 meters.

And speaking of Divider Conquer, it also has the lack of "pts." (or whatever "mori" translates to):

Fictional cardtridge localizing
The cardtridge of the last game was changed according to reality:

Doodads

Natural turn of globe
The default location of the globe was changed upon localization (obviously):

Okay, I took both images are from the same ROM. The change still aplies regardless.

Your fortune is...
The Written Oracle souvenir was replaced by a Fortune Cookie:

The sound was also changed:

US version

Lovely
The Love Tester title screen went under a few changes. Look for yourself:

By the way, did you know this is based on an old Nintendo toy? Look it up.

LIES!
The "USO" writting on the Lie Detector was replaced by "LIE". I guess it's a translation:

Other

Grating grating
For some reason, the Turnip Graters were replaced by Carrot Graters:

Cultural figure
The Jizou-san was replaced by a Garden Gnome:

Cultural removal
The Mochitsuki Set was removed from the US version:

What was it about? Spin your GBA to make the boy pound the rice. Once it's done, the man will eat it and his head will grow. Repeat as long as you like. If the man's head grows too big, it will shrink below its original size:

Mochitsuki is making rice cakes, a Japanese custom. More info
here.

Ending circle
The logo at the end of the credits has been changed from "MADE in WARIO" to "WARIO WARE". As a side note, in the first game it was changed to "Wario Ware, Inc.":
